Flank Steak Salad

Ingredients for Salad

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1/2 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 large Persian cucumber, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Ingredients for steak marinade

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1/3 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
    • Marinate for at least 1-2 hours

Ingredients for salad dressing

  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper
    • Mix well
  1. Slice your steak into thin slices.
  2. Heat up a pan on medium-high heat with vegetable oil and sauté steak on each side for 1-2 minutes on each side (longer if you want your steak cooked well done)
  3. Serve with the rest of the ingredients
