𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!!
🐠 🌮 🐠 🌮 🐠 🌮
Ingredients for tacos:
- I always use cod or halibut and make grilled fish tacos, but we were craving crispy fish this time so I bought the frozen Cod fish from @traderjoes and it was delicious!!
- Tortilla bread
- Cabbage
- Tomatoes
- Red onion
- Pickled jalapeño
- Lemons
- Tartar sauce (I used the one from @traderjoes but it had a little too much mayo for me. Next time I plan to make my own sauce: 𝟯/𝟰 𝗰𝘂𝗽 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗼, 𝟮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝟭 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝟭 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗲)
For the elote corn, I got the frozen bag from @traderjoes which was beyond delicious. But to make your own, here’s the recipe: 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘯, 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘰, 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘥𝘦𝘳, 𝘤𝘰𝘫𝘪𝘵𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘴𝘦, 𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘫𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘦. 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘯, 𝘮𝘪𝘹 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘸𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.
Instructions for tacos:
Warm up tortillas
Follow heating instructions for fish
Shred the cabbage and add lemon juice, salt and pepper
Chop tomatoes and red onion
Take each tortilla, add the cabbage, fish, top with tomato, red onion and jalapeño.
Add tartar sauce to a ziplock bag, cut off a small piece of the corner so you can squeeze out the sauce and drizzle on top of each taco.
Serve with lemon wedges and your favorite tortilla chips, salsa and hot sauce!!
